**Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse qualification and possess an active NMC Pin to be eligible for this position.**
As the Senior Nursing Team Leader, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of nursing professionals to ensure exceptional care standards are consistently met.
- Encouraging independence and dignity while significantly enhancing the quality of life for residents.
- Facilitating improvements and driving quality initiatives to enhance operational efficiency in accordance with CQC standards.
- Creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging atmosphere for all residents, staff, and visitors.
- Assisting the Home Manager and overseeing the daily operations of the facility.
The following qualifications and experiences are preferred for this role:
- Proven experience in team management, ensuring appropriate supervision and effective staff scheduling for seamless home operations.
- Background in quality assurance and clinical governance, including auditing and care service evaluations.
- Experience in developing comprehensive care plans and conducting thorough risk assessments, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Ability to maintain precise documentation and resident records, utilizing modern technology effectively.
- Confidence in managing all aspects of medication administration during shifts, adhering to company policies and current legislation.
- Capability to mentor, guide, and support colleagues in alignment with the NMC Code, consistently following its principles.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and supporting residents and their families.
The successful Senior Nursing Team Leader will enjoy a competitive hourly wage of £20.00, translating to an annual salary of £40,040. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 38.5 hours per week, specifically for night shifts.
