About the Role

In light of a comprehensive review of our postgraduate taught offerings, we are excited to announce the creation of the Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Coordinator position. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Designated Manager and Academic Programme Directors to enhance PGT offerings at Norwich, striving to deliver an innovative and adaptable curriculum that harmonizes discipline-specific education with collaborative learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Level 7 provision and oversee the development, leadership, and execution of interdisciplinary core and elective units.
  • Support the delivery of an exceptional student experience, drawing on a robust understanding of the challenges associated with postgraduate education.
  • Promote postgraduate study to prospective students and educators, both domestically and internationally.
  • Engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to incorporate diverse perspectives into the student experience.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, management, and team-building skills to enhance educational outcomes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid background in creative arts, with a developing profile as a practitioner, researcher, or industry professional.
  • Experience in teaching at the postgraduate level, with a track record of leading modules or year groups.
  • A broad understanding of creative disciplines beyond their own area of expertise.
  • A passion for collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to education.

Fractional hours are negotiable up to full-time for candidates whose skills and experience align with growth areas in our academic portfolio.
