CGI Visualiser Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CGI Exterior Designer to join our Design team at Utopia, working on signature hospitality projects.

In this role, you will be required to produce high-quality 3D models and visualisations that showcase design intent. You will work closely with the Design Director, developing sketches into architectural concepts and collaborating with both exterior and interior designers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with architectural and design teams to plan and visualise exterior, interior, and architecture projects.
  • Develop and present your own design concept ideas based on client requirements.
  • Create bespoke materials and textures in 3D Max and Corona render, based on interior designer selections.
  • Model or source 3D FF&E based on exterior and interior designer selections.
  • Model bespoke furniture from given sketches or image references.
  • Provide fast sketch renders/previews for internal review (both interior and exterior renders).
  • Collaborate effectively in an agile work environment and work well with project management software (e.g., Jira).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Engineering field.
  • Solid experience as CGI Exterior Designer.
  • Experience as CGI Interior Designer.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have:
  • Structural/architectural engineer experience.
  • Experience in 3D-modelling.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • High level of aesthetic.
  • Experience working in rendering firms (e.g., Mir, Squint Opera).
