Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with an Interest in Medical Education and Leadership

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Medical Education and Clinical Governance, and will be responsible for leading and developing our obstetric and gynaecology services.
Key Responsibilities- To provide clinical leadership and expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a focus on medical education and clinical governance.
- To develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- To lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- To participate in clinical teaching and training of junior staff and undergraduate students.
- To contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- To work collaboratively with other departments and teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- MRCOG or equivalent qualification.
- Membership of relevant specialist societies or associations.
- Experience of leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals.
- Strong interest in medical education and clinical governance.
