AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Civil Structural Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering innovative engineering solutions for critical UK infrastructure projects, with opportunities to contribute to iconic developments both domestically and internationally.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop comprehensive project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals for heavy civil engineering projects.
  • Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve key milestones and program objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Establish and maintain high quality assurance standards throughout the design process.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Your Qualifications:
  • Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with extensive experience in heavy civil engineering design.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant design codes and standards, including British Standards and potentially American codes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
