Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a talented English Language Facilitator to become part of our dynamic team. If you possess a strong enthusiasm for teaching English and a dedication to fostering student success, this role may be an excellent match for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement captivating English lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Guide students in enhancing their English proficiency and offer constructive feedback.
  • Inspire a love for reading and writing among students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Track and assess student progress and attendance.
  • Communicate with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress and any concerns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related discipline (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification with QTS).
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching credential.
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level, ideally in a diverse urban setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the national English curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient classroom management skills with the ability to cultivate a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
