Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced French language teacher to join our team at The London School of English. As a face-to-face language educator, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural exploration.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and design courses that align with the interests and goals of adult learners.
  • Focus on practising the speaking part of the language and use the target language from the start.
  • Implement creative and engaging teaching methods that encourage active participation, conversation, and real-world language use.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to learners while promoting a non-judgmental and growth-oriented atmosphere.
  • Foster a sense of community among learners, encouraging collaboration, peer support, and cultural exchange.
  • Be punctual and precise on administrative documentation required for the job.
Requirements
  • Native or C2 level in the target language.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • At least a University bachelor's degree in any topic.
  • A Modern Language teaching certification or a University degree in the subject.
  • At least 3 years experience as a Modern Language teacher for adult learners.
  • Flexible, resilient, and organised.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire students and create a relaxed, supportive, and non-judgmental learning atmosphere.
Desirable Qualifications
  • A University degree in the target language (master's degree preferred).
  • Experience in Teacher training, e.g., CLTA training.
