About the Role

The British Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Language Teacher to join our team in Egypt. As a key member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students of all ages and levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons to diverse student groups.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learner autonomy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and evaluate English language courses and materials.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain high teaching standards and promote best practices in English language teaching.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students, adhering to British Council policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Certificate TESOL qualification.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience, with a focus on adult and young learner English language instruction.
  • Experience in teaching English language courses in a variety of settings, including adult and young learner classes.
