Job Title: English Language Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Language Teacher to join our team at the British Council in Egypt.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality English language lessons to students of various ages and levels. They will also be expected to monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and contribute to the development of English language courses and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver English language lessons to students of various ages and levels
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
  • Contribute to the development of English language courses and materials
  • Actively engage in professional development and performance management to ensure quality and high standards in teaching and learning
  • Ensure safeguarding and guidelines are applied and upheld in line with standards and policy
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in any discipline
  • Cambridge CELTA or Trinity cert TESOL
  • High proficiency in English (CEFR C2)
  • 2 years post-certificate experience in teaching English
