As a Control Systems Electrician, your primary responsibilities will include the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, with a particular emphasis on PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robotics, and automation technologies.

This role demands a comprehensive understanding of industrial automation systems and the capability to operate effectively in a dynamic work environment.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, including PLCs, robotics, and other automation technologies.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements while executing electrical and automation tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance and production personnel on control systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory management.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Electrician or Automation Technician with a focus on PLCs, robotics, and automation systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and control system issues using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as required.
