Role Overview:

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Reception and Sales colleague, known internally as a Placemaker, at Places Leisure. In this dynamic role, you will thrive in a lively atmosphere alongside enthusiastic colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be to motivate others to collaborate and excel in their roles. You will be exceptionally organized and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere that leaves a positive impression on all visitors.

While prior experience in sales and customer service is advantageous, we welcome proactive and self-driven individuals. With our ongoing training and development programs, we are committed to equipping you with the necessary skills and resources to succeed in this position and advance your career.

Career Path:

The Placemaker role serves as an excellent entry point into various career trajectories within Places Leisure, including opportunities to progress to Placemaker Assistant Manager and Placemaker Manager.

Training and Development:

As a Placemaker, you will benefit from continuous training and development opportunities, including customer service and sales training through our partners, as well as regular webinars and seminars aimed at enhancing sales performance. You will also have the chance to develop additional skills in areas such as lifeguarding and swimming instruction.

  • Utilize sales tools and techniques as outlined by Places Leisure membership management.
  • Be a sales-oriented and target-driven individual.
  • Exhibit a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner, and consistently striving to exceed expectations.
