Job Title: Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities

As a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan care for service users, ensuring their individual needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Act as an advocate for service users, promoting their autonomy and self-esteem.
  • Manage risks effectively, balancing the needs of service users with the requirements of the service.
  • Take responsibility for planning and providing care to a defined group of service users, communicating with other professionals and agencies as necessary.

Person Specification:
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Registered Nurse working with Learning Disabilities in a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
