About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Learning Disability Inpatient Practitioner. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess care needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
  • Provide named practitioner role to individuals who use our service.
  • Promote and improve the quality of service provided.
  • Manage the unit in the absence of the Ward Manager/Team Leader.
  • Participate in the internal rotation system, including weekend working.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse RNLD/RNM or dual qualified Registered Nurse RNLD and Social worker integrated practice.
  • Degree/HE Diploma level.
  • Working knowledge of using common computer programmes such as email, internet, word processing.
  • Evidence of willingness to undertake further training.
