Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People is in search of dedicated nursing professionals to enhance our esteemed Nursing team.

Our Neuro Rehabilitation service operates a modern, 48-bed Care and Rehabilitation Centre, providing essential rehabilitation care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery from neurological conditions.

Collaborate with your colleagues to engage with our multi-disciplinary team, focused on the development and execution of tailored and specialized treatment plans. Job Duties

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

· Monitor and address the clinical needs of individual clients undergoing rehabilitation.

· Assist clients in achieving optimal physical and personal well-being, including nutrition, hygiene, and overall appearance.

· Implement and assess the effectiveness of care plans and therapeutic guidelines for all clients.

· Oversee medication administration and auditing in collaboration with the Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation Support.

· Manage and evaluate continence care plans in consultation with the Continence Advisor.

· Monitor clients' dietary requirements, adhering to guidelines provided by dieticians.

· Ensure a safe environment and compliance with infection control protocols.

· Maintain accurate and legible records of clinical care.

· Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members and external professionals as necessary.

· Provide guidance and training to staff regarding the clinical care needs of all clients.

· Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and report any incidents or hazards to your supervisor.

· Uphold confidentiality regarding client information and service-related matters.

· Foster positive staff relationships within the department to ensure high standards of teamwork.

· Supervise Support Workers during shifts.

· Work with the Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation Support on matters related to clients' clinical needs.

· Participate in effective discharge planning in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications Required

Essential

Registered Nurse Adult with a valid NMC pin. Evidence of post-registration education and practice.

Desirable

Mentorship qualification.
