We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Team Member to join our team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients who are undergoing rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Care: Monitor and manage the clinical needs of individual clients, ensuring their physical and personal wellbeing is maintained at a high standard.
- Care Planning: Implement and evaluate the efficacy of care plans and therapy guidelines for all clients, working closely with the Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation Support.
- Medication Administration: Administer and audit medication in conjunction with the Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation Support.
- Continence Care: Manage, monitor, assess, and implement continence plans of care for clients, liaising with the Continence Advisor as required.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and legible records of clinical care.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and external professionals, including medical personnel, to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Staff Development: Advise and train staff on clinical care needs, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
- Health and Safety: Comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act, reporting any incidents or hazards to your line manager.
- Team Dynamics: Contribute to building and maintaining good staff relationships within the department, ensuring a positive and effective team environment.
Requirements:
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices.
