Special Educational Needs Support Assistant
Daytime Hours

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join our team at Smile Education Recruitment. This role involves providing essential support to children with special educational needs in their learning and personal growth.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work directly with students who require additional assistance, either individually or in small groups, fostering an inclusive educational environment.

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Prior experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
  • A Level 2 qualification or higher in Health and Social Care, Teaching Assistance, or a related field
  • Confidence in providing support in both individual and small group settings
Responsibilities of the Special Educational Needs Support Assistant:
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure the safety and well-being of students
  • Apply your skills and knowledge to assist children with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities
  • Provide tailored support to students in both one-on-one and small group settings
