Financial Analyst

RM Recruit is pleased to partner with a reputable organisation in their search for a skilled Financial Analyst. This full-time, permanent role is office-based Monday to Friday for the first six months, with the potential for two remote workdays per week following a successful probationary period.

• Support Financial Planning Processes: Ensure accuracy and timely completion of budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct Financial Analysis: Identify trends and provide actionable insights through variance analysis.
• Reconcile Financial Data: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist in preparing year-end accounts.
• Collaborate with Departments: Gather financial data and support financial planning across departments.
• Assist with Audit Preparations: Liaise with external auditors as needed to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Post Financial Transactions: Post journals, prepayments, and accruals.
• Contribute to Financial Reporting: Drive process improvements and support the implementation of new financial systems.

The successful candidate will be part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA or possess equivalent experience, with a strong background in management accounting and excellent analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. The ability to manage workload priorities and work effectively within a team is critical.
