Job Description

RM Recruit is pleased to partner with a reputable organisation in their search for a resourceful Management Accountant. This full-time, permanent role is office-based Monday to Friday for the first six months, with the potential for two remote workdays per week following a successful probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the development and implementation of financial plans and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist in preparing year-end accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Collaborate across departments to gather financial data and support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Audit Support: Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as needed, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and support the implementation of new financial systems, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA or possess equivalent experience, with a strong background in management accounting and excellent analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal abilities. The ability to manage workload priorities and work effectively within a team is critical.
