Job Title: Head of Legal Practice - Compliance Expert

Job Summary:

Jameson Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Practice to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our CLC authorization.

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Oversee and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CLC marketing requirements.
  • Policy Development: Update and implement internal compliance policies and procedures, ensuring effective dissemination to all staff.
  • Training and Quality: Provide regular training to staff on compliance and client-facing quality of service, ensuring service levels are met.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Management Team on the status of our compliance arrangements.
  • Lead Generation and Advertising: Oversee and sign off all lead generation and service advertisements to ensure compliance with CLC marketing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Must be a qualified Solicitor, chartered legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with at least 6 years' PQE.
  • Experience: Must have had at least two years in a compliance role working in a legal practice, dealing with client complaints, KYC and money laundering procedures, and firm-wide risk assessments.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think outside the box, and excellent communication skills.
