About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Controller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Payroll Controller, you will be responsible for processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for clients from various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payrolls for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Set up new PAYE schemes with HMRC as required
  • Enrol employees and manage auto-enrolment on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
  • Process starters and leavers

Requirements:

  • At least two years of payroll experience, preferably in a firm of accountants
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy, ideally with knowledge of Sage
