Catalyst is looking to appoint a Payroll Specialist.

Our client, one of the North East’s leading firms of accountancy and business advisors and named one of the top financial advisers in the region, is looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Specialist to take full responsibility for a portfolio of weekly and monthly payrolls for businesses across the country.

Your key responsibilities as Payroll Specialist will include:

- checking payroll prepared by junior colleagues
- filing data with HMRC
- processing payroll, including court orders and student loans
- processing auto-enrolment pension deductions
- answering client queries
- ensuring data accuracy

As Payroll Specialist you will need:

- experience working in a busy payroll environment
- up-to-date knowledge of all regulations
- strong organisation skills
- (preferably) experience of STAR payroll
