Role: Locum Consultant in Haematology
Rates: £90 - £115 Per Hour (PAYE)
Shifts: Full time, Monday to Friday + 1:4 On Calls - 10 PA per week to include 4 OPD clinics 1 of which offsite at Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton
1 day per week on call 9:00-17:00 onsite, 17:00-09:00 offsite
1:4 weekend on call to include onsite ward round

In this role, you will work closely with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust. As a Locum Consultant Haematologist, you will provide high-quality patient care while contributing to the advancement of haematology services.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with a range of blood disorders, from benign to malignant conditions. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping to drive clinical excellence and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnosis, screening, treatment, preoperative, operative, and postoperative management of patient care.
- Support patients and their families in understanding their diagnosis and treatment options.
- Coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various types of treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
- Conduct research to improve procedures and outcomes.
- Teach and train junior doctors and medical students.
Requirements:
- GMC registration (no need to be on the Specialist Register)
- Relevant experience at Consultant level or references to support transition
- Right to Work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Enhanced background check (DBS)
