Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in evaluating and processing claims estimates and paid claims values in accordance with policy terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Claims Evaluation: Assist in the preparation and implementation of operational team plans to ensure alignment with business strategy and key priorities.
  • Claims Strategy: Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets.
  • Claims Investigation: Investigate and resolve complex Claims of a specialist nature in a professional manner to provide excellent Claims handling service with minimal leakage.
  • Subrogation and Recovery: Identify subrogation, contribution, and other recovery issues and ensure successful pursuit where appropriate.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Support the Senior Claims Team in the production of Management Information reports and produce regular statistical and analytical Claims information to Portfolio and Risk Managers and Senior Management.
  • Claims Knowledge: Develop and maintain sufficient knowledge of Claims portfolio to ensure delivery of accurate information to Underwriters and management when requested.

Requirements:

  • Claims Experience: In-depth experience of working in a Claims environment within a specialized/complex Claims area.
  • Qualifications: ACII (equivalent) qualified or progress towards completion of insurance qualifications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
