We are seeking a Heritage Collections Coordinator (Access/ Outreach) to become a vital part of our Heritage and Archive team within the Creative Engagement department on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

The Southbank Centre Archive houses an extensive collection of over 3000 boxes and kilometres of documents, photographs, artifacts, recordings, and digital materials that narrate the history of the Southbank Centre since its inception. This collection is continually expanding, particularly in digital formats.

We are embarking on a transformative journey to implement a long-term vision for the archive, aligning it with our Creative Engagement programme. Our current focus is on innovating ways to celebrate our heritage and providing new avenues for public access to the collection.

The Heritage Collections Coordinator will spearhead the development and execution of our acclaimed participatory collections management initiative. Collaborating closely with the public, archive personnel, and broader creative engagement teams, you will design and facilitate workshops that align with the archive's collection priorities. Additionally, you will enhance public access to the collection by managing our research and inquiry service, ensuring an exceptional experience for our diverse audiences, including academics, artists, and the general public.
