Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate individual to take on the role of Heritage Collections Coordinator.

Reporting to: Heritage Collections Manager

Department: Heritage

Contract Type: Permanent

Compensation: £29,486 per annum (Band D, level 3, inclusive of outer London weighting)

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Management Duties: Supervision of Heritage Volunteers

Role Responsibilities:

  • As part of a dedicated team, you will coordinate the management of the Heritage Collection, ensuring adherence to the highest professional standards.
  • Your focus will be on overseeing the donation processes and evaluating key areas of the Collection for potential rationalization.
  • It is essential to document, store, and care for the assets effectively, ensuring they are accessible for audience engagement through various means such as displays and exhibitions.

About the Heritage Collection: The Scout Heritage Collection holds a wealth of stories that reflect over 117 years of history, showcasing innovation, adventure, bravery, and brilliance. In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing narrative of the Collection, collaborating with staff and volunteers to shape the heritage of the future.
