Job Summary

Due to significant investment in our Occupational Health (OH) Service, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. As an integral member of this well-resourced team, you will play a vital role in delivering efficient and effective OH services to Trust employees and select external clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to protect and promote the health and well-being of current and prospective employees, as well as individuals from contracted organizations, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Deliver comprehensive OH clinical activities, including management referrals, consultations, reporting, health clearance assessments, risk management, and exposure-related advice and intervention.
  • Provide evidence-based guidance and expertise to Trust management and partner organizations to support their line management and risk management responsibilities. Assist in safeguarding against risks arising from work and the working environment, and influence the implementation of safe and healthy work practices.
  • Take ownership of specific areas within the OH service delivery and actively promote the work of the OH team by serving as a key liaison between managers, HR, and employees.
