About the Role:

As a key member of the ecoSense Cleaning team, the Area Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and operation of a portfolio of contracts across London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and site inspections.
  • Manage and supervise a team of cleaning personnel to ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Monitor and improve cleaning standards through regular site visits and inspections.
  • Coordinate and arrange one-off cleans and deep cleans with clients, ensuring satisfaction and quality of service.
  • Liaise with managers and supervisors on a daily basis to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Be involved in the selection, training, and development of new cleaning team members.
  • Monitor and manage equipment, uniform, and stock levels to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning management or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Able to effectively manage and supervise cleaning and supervisory staff.
  • IT literate and able to use software applications.
  • High levels of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Full UK driving license.
