About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at Lidl GB. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our stores, ensuring that they are running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly visit stores to monitor performance and provide guidance to Store Managers on operational compliance, efficiency, and productivity.
- Mentor and support Store Managers in recruiting, training, and developing their teams, with a focus on improving store performance.
- Empower teams to achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain our high standards.
- Create an environment where teams can excel, aligned with our Leadership and Company Principles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in motivating and leading teams across multiple sites to achieve outstanding results.
- Ability to understand complex reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Drive to learn and stay up-to-date with the evolving aspects of our business.
- Effective communication skills to support teams with new launches, concepts, and processes.
- A full UK Driving License.
