Data Center Security Specialist

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and customer-obsessed professional to provide hands-on support to our Data Center Infrastructure Operations team across the TPE Cluster.
As a Data Center Security Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating physical security operations, testing and conducting audit reviews of the Physical Security Program, providing support to the Contract Guard Force, contractors, and all stakeholders within the Data Center.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Security Activities: Coordinate the day-to-day Security activities for your assigned Data Center(s) under the guidance of an experienced manager.
- Assess Vendor Compliance: Assess vendor compliance, based on the established work order, track service deliverables, and escalate corrective actions to a senior team member as needed.
- Support Vendors: Provide support to all vendors within the data center.
- Conduct Inspections and Audits: Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews in your area of responsibility and ensure compliance with AWS security standards and policies.
- Lead Media Security Requirements: Lead the media security requirements within the Data Center.
- Participate in Meetings: Participate in regular meetings with vendors, data center operations, and other partner teams to accomplish operational consistency.
- Communicate Security Policies: Effectively communicate with partner teams when providing awareness of security policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot Security Devices: Troubleshoot Security Devices in conjunction with the local Security System Integrator.
- Provide a Safe and Secure Environment: Provide a safe and secure environment for our people, assets, and customer data.
- Physical Security of Data Centers: Physical Security of our Data Center (DC) sites and protecting the integrity of all Red Medias.
- Security Access Control: Security access control of our DC sites.
- Respond to Security Incidents: Respond to security incidents.
- Write Reports: Write reports on security incidents, system anomalies, and other security-related matters.
- Test and Maintain Security Systems: Test and maintain security systems, such as alarms, security devices, and cameras.
- Train Employees: Train employees on data center security procedures.
- Identify and Assess Security Risks: Identify and assess potential security risks to the data center.
- Develop and Implement Risk Mitigation Plans: Develop and implement plans to mitigate security risks.
- Promote Security Awareness: Promote security awareness among employees and visitors.
