We are seeking a seasoned marketing and communications professional to engage supporters, encouraging them to participate, contribute, and volunteer for a cherished charitable organization.

Work Environment

You will join the Trust's internal consultancy, a versatile team of specialists with diverse skills and expertise. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary group, including curators, fundraisers, and project managers, you will work alongside others to drive initiatives forward.

Your designated workplace will be the National Trust Regional office. Our hybrid work policy allows you to balance remote work with site visits and meetings at various National Trust locations. We will discuss this further during the interview process, but anticipate spending 40–60% of your workweek at a National Trust site.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our regional marketing and communications team, you will contribute to the execution of our strategic objectives, supporting National Trust locations and collaborating closely with local teams.

You will develop engaging content across multiple platforms to vividly showcase Trust locations. Your role will involve leading and motivating colleagues in local teams, providing coaching and mentorship to enhance their marketing and communications capabilities.

Your efforts will ignite discussions, offer compelling reasons for visits, and elevate awareness and understanding of the Trust's mission and activities. You will excel in managing competing priorities.

Collaborating with marketing and communications teams throughout the Trust, you will ensure cohesive planning, create content for various channels, and assess the effectiveness of your initiatives.
