About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Engagement Specialist to join our team at Certas Energy UK Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all the company's renewable energy products.
  • Generate New Business Opportunities: Make outbound calls to our customer database to generate enquiries and qualify the customer in line with our product criteria.
  • Set Appointments and Deliver Sales Excellence: Set an appointment with the customer for our Business Development Manager to visit and ensure that all sales opportunities are dealt with in a professional manner, taking every opportunity to generate leads.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Handle inbound contacts and support the customer through a consultative sales approach, ensuring that all customer enquiries and information requests are responded to in a professional manner.
  • Meet Performance Targets: Deliver sales excellence by achieving performance targets and responding to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • B2B Contact Centre Experience: B2B contact centre experience is desirable, with a proven track record of generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Self-Confidence and Interpersonal Skills: Self-confidence and good interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with customers and colleagues on a daily basis.
  • High Degree of Self-Motivation and Time Management: A high degree of self-motivation and time management skills are required to meet performance targets and deliver sales excellence.
  • Resilient, Persistent and Hardworking: Resilient, persistent and hardworking individuals who are able to handle customer objections and manage customer interactions with empathy are highly desirable.
  • GCSE Maths and English: GCSE maths and English are a requirement for this role, as you will be working with customers and colleagues on a daily basis.
