About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Right at Home Ilkley, Keighley & Skipton. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in managing and developing our business, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality care to our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Client Assessments and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop high-quality care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and support the team in achieving a minimum of 'Good' in CQC inspections.
  • Staff Management and Development: Assist in the responsibility of staff, including planning, allocating, and evaluating workload, ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Identify and provide training needs for staff, implement induction programs, and ensure ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Shortlist candidates, schedule interviews, and conduct phone screenings and face-to-face interviews to ensure the best possible fit for our team.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Hold or be working towards a QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care, with junior management experience of service provision in the care industry.
  • Driving License and Vehicle: Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.
