Financial Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Transparent Recruitment Solutions Ltd.

The successful candidate will be a commercially minded, driven and enthusiastic finance professional with a proven track record of operating within an e-commerce and B2B business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a small transactional Finance Team
  • Formulate financial strategy
  • Manage relationships with bankers and auditors
  • Ensure smooth annual audit process
  • Lead and develop the finance team to ensure accurate and insightful management information
  • Oversee preparation of financial strategic plan alongside Managing Director
  • Lead on development of budgets, financial planning, forecasts and financial models to enable effective decision making on commercial opportunities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Ensure appropriate budgetary controls are in place, monitoring costs against budget
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Lead on all project and acquisition accounting
  • Review entity cash forecasts, considering future movements in foreign exchange drivers
  • Interrogate management information, providing regular and informative commentary on commercial performance

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
