Financial Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Transparent Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage the financial relationship with our bankers and auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the finance team in the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and implement financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proven track record in financial leadership.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a growing SME with e-commerce and B2B operations.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central and Amazon, with the ability to work with these systems to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for finance and a drive to deliver results.
