KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HR OFFICER

  • You will manage key areas such as Attendance Management, Maternity, and Flexible Working arrangements. Additionally, you will support HR Business Partners and engage in professional development opportunities.
  • In a confidential and dynamic environment, you will assist with various critical responsibilities, providing friendly support to all staff members and officers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Possession of a Level 5 Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, or a commitment to obtain it within an agreed timeframe.
  • Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
  • Relevant experience in the HR sector, particularly in a multi-disciplinary or multi-site organization.
  • Proven experience in advising Line Managers on HR-related issues.
  • Familiarity with HR/Payroll systems and the provision of Management Information.
  • Experience in delivering presentations and conducting briefing sessions.
  • A strong understanding of HR processes, including induction, recruitment, performance management, and attendance management.
  • Ability to analyze financial or technical data to drive effective decision-making.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations impacting the HR function.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Level 1 Welsh language skills are essential, with Level 2 and above being desirable.
