Role Overview
The Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement team within HM Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) is a key function responsible for ensuring convicted individuals comply with financial penalties imposed by the criminal courts. The team employs approximately 1,500 staff across 50 locations in England and Wales, working together to enforce compliance and manage Confiscation Orders. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, providing exceptional customer service to individuals who are often in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Confidently answer a range of telephone enquiries for the Criminal Fines Collection and Enforcement Contact Centre
- Utilize excellent communication skills to empathize with customers and work collaboratively to resolve issues
- Update records on the in-house computer system following contact
- Deliver a helpful, prompt, polite, and "right first time" service to customers
