Part-Time Financial Administrator for a Non-Profit Organization

Location: Warwick - 12 hours per week

Compensation: £18 per hour

We are collaborating with a respected non-profit organization that significantly contributes to the community. Situated in a historic venue that welcomes visitors and hosts various events throughout the year, they are in search of a committed and proficient Financial Administrator to oversee daily financial operations.

This part-time role requires a commitment of 12 hours per week and provides the flexibility to work remotely, although regular office visits will be essential for collecting documentation and participating in meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistent entry of all financial data into Sage Line 50.
  • Weekly reconciliation of multiple bank accounts.
  • Issuing invoices for events, services, and other charges.
  • Processing vendor invoices.
  • Setting up bank payments for approval.
  • Managing debt recovery as necessary.
  • Supervising Gift Aid records, including logging donations and submitting monthly reports to HMRC using Fundfiler.
  • Filing claims for VAT recovery on specific items through the listed places of worship scheme.
  • Posting monthly journals for payroll and music account transactions, along with quarterly entries for accruals and prepayments.
  • Reconciling control accounts and transferring funds between bank accounts to ensure accurate fund balances.
