Job Title: Communications and Marketing Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Marketing Officer to join our team at Nottingham CityCare Partnership CIC. As a key member of our Communications and Marketing Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of our communications, marketing, and engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a range of communications and marketing activities to promote our services and engage with our audiences.
  • Manage our internal and external communications channels, including social media, email, and print materials.
  • Work closely with our clinical and non-clinical leads to develop targeted communications plans and deliver effective internal and external communications.
  • Manage our website and intranet, ensuring that content is engaging and up-to-date.
  • Develop and implement a media relations strategy to secure positive media coverage for our organization.
  • Organize corporate events, including staff awards and roadshows, to promote our brand and engage with our stakeholders.

Person Specification:

  • Significant experience of working in a communications, PR, marketing, and/or engagement role.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing communications in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of how to create an effective communications and engagement plan.
  • Experience of delivering communications projects and campaigns, thinking creatively to deliver return on investment.
  • Experience of monitoring/evaluating communications activity.
  • Experience of working with the media and handling potentially sensitive media enquiries.
  • Sound understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
  • Experience of working in a deadline-driven, customer-focused environment, delivering a high volume of work within timescales, deadlines, and within budget.
  • Experience of maintaining and developing communications and engagement channels.
  • Knowledge of best practice in communication and engagement.
  • Knowledge of using a wide range of online and written communication channels and techniques to promote messaging internally.

Desirable:

  • Experience and knowledge of working in a healthcare/NHS environment.
  • Excellent project management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level in communications, journalism, PR, or equivalent, or significant relevant experience.
  • Evidence of continued professional development in communications, PR, and marketing, keeping abreast of latest developments and best practice.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. You will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel between locations.
