Job Summary:

The University of Nottingham is seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to join our team as a Marketing and Communications Officer. As a key member of our small team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), an admission test used by a consortium of universities to help select applicants to their medical and dental degree programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of a strategic marketing and communications plan for UCAT.
  • Implement marketing plans, create content for digital and print communications, and evaluate the effectiveness of actions.
  • Ensure materials communicate consistent messages and are written using the appropriate tone and voice for diverse audiences.
  • Deliver online presentations to potential test takers and their advisers.
  • Provide support for general administrative duties in the office, including processing bursaries and access arrangements and dealing with candidate enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a marketing role.
  • Excellent customer service, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and experience using content management and/or CX platforms.
