About HRS Communications:

Founded and led by a registered dietitian, we are a UK-based nutrition communications agency. We are a diverse and experienced team, highly skilled and qualified in nutrition, marketing and communications. HRS Communications works with ambitious food, nutrition and medical clients to maximise their impact in the nutrition space. Our core capabilities include strategy, content and events for consumer, business-to-business and healthcare professional audiences. HRS has over 50 years of combined experience working in the food industry, communications, and clinical settings. Our balanced approach permeates every facet of our operations, from our commitment to disseminating evidence-based nutrition information through to cultivating an equitable and adaptable work environment.

Job information:

Location: Fully remote

Job type: Part-time (22.5 hours), 3 days per week

Salary: £40,000 F.T.E

Reports to: CEO and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Role Overview:

As the Marketing Manager, you will be tasked with formulating the marketing strategy and supervising the execution of marketing initiatives for HRS Communications. Reporting to the CEO and CMO, you will ensure the marketing strategy is executed efficiently, within budget, and meets established KPIs. Your responsibilities will include campaign management, performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business goals. This position demands creativity, strategic insight, and strong communication skills to effectively promote our services and enhance brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy:

· Assist in the formulation of the marketing strategy

· Conduct market research and provide industry insights and trend analysis to guide the marketing strategy

Marketing Planning:

· Create a comprehensive marketing activity plan

· Develop a content strategy and calendar of activities

· Lead the creation of an events and partnership strategy and calendar of activities

· Oversee marketing budget management, tracking, and reporting

· Manage all marketing data (including CRM)

· Establish and review key marketing KPIs

Marketing Delivery:

· Oversee the performance of external agencies against agreed KPIs, including website, SEO, and graphic design agencies to ensure alignment with the company's marketing objectives. Hold third-party suppliers accountable for delivery and take corrective action as necessary to meet targets

· Guide and support the Marketing Executive in managing HRS' social media platforms, creating engaging content for blogs, websites, email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials

· Coordinate marketing events, including webinars, trade shows, and conferences to showcase company offerings

· Assist in developing and maintaining the HRS brand across all communication channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding

Marketing Analysis:

· Responsible for monitoring and reporting on performance

· Propose innovative ideas and creative marketing recommendations

Skills:

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for diverse channels and audiences.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed marketing decisions.

· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for exploring new ideas and approaches.

· Self-motivated with a proactive attitude

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently, while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

· Proficient in business software, including:

  • Office 365
  • CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, SalesForce)
  • Graphic design software (e.g., Canva, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Scheduling software (e.g., Loomly, Hootsuite)
  • Project management software (e.g., Asana)
  • Website platforms (e.g., WordPress)

Qualifications and Background:

Essential:

· Proven leadership experience in marketing roles, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques (3+ years)

Desirable:

· Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

· CIM qualification or working towards one.

· Experience in an agency setting.

· Interest in nutrition, health, and wellness.
