About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Palliative Care Specialist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a Consultant in Paediatric Medicine, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Paediatric Palliative Care and a strong track record of teaching and leading in clinical audit processes. You will be expected to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care and contribute to the development of our palliative care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to children and young people with life-limiting conditions
  • Lead in clinical audit processes and contribute to the development of our palliative care services
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Teach and mentor junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development of our palliative care services and policies
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Paediatric Palliative Care
  • Strong track record of teaching and leading in clinical audit processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
