About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team in London. As a key member of our B2B Subscription Sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our leading digital title, The Insurer.

Your primary focus will be on building pipelines and closing deals on both new and existing accounts. You will work closely with the marketing team on subscription campaigns for lead generation and monitor competitor developments to shape sales strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Personally contributing to building pipelines and closing deals on both new and existing accounts for The Insurer.
  • Nurturing existing client relationships to enhance engagement, drive incremental sales, and grow existing subscriptions.
  • Working closely with the marketing team on subscription campaigns for lead generation.
  • Monitoring competitor developments to shape sales strategy.
  • Accurate and timely revenue forecasting, including pipeline management.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the Reuters brand when engaging with other industry-leading businesses.
  • Demonstrable B2B sales and new business development experience, ideally with experience of selling corporate subscriptions.
  • A collaborative attitude, with the ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.
  • The ability to adapt to changes in markets and articulate potential solutions to a range of stakeholders over the phone, in person, and on video calls.
