Director of Marketing Strategy

A leading property consultancy, Ambition, is seeking a Director of Marketing Strategy to drive brand awareness and revenue growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth and revenue.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's global marketing strategy and plans.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Growth to deliver the company's 2030 strategy and growth plans.
  • Brand and Communications:
  • Manage the company's brand and communications, including client development and bidding activities.
  • Ensure brand consistency and oversee creative campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Develop national and international brand awareness and reputation.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to deliver client relationship programmes that drive retention and growth.
  • Build and implement research programmes with internal teams to inform marketing strategies.
  • Support the development of new service and sector specialisms that drive business growth.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop a marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Motivate and manage team performance to build skills, capability, and capacity.
  • Manage external agencies for digital, communications, and other marketing activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build strong and positive working relationships with stakeholders across the UK and global business.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder engagement to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Interface and consult with business leaders to support effective messaging and client propositions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in property or the built environment sector.
  • Proven track record in marketing strategy and team management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organisation.
