Site Maintenance Coordinator

Salary: £11.75 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Weekly Hours: 28, Monday to Friday with occasional early starts

We are dedicated to partnering with ASDA to ensure their stores are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Facilities Management Team as a Site Maintenance Coordinator, responsible for overseeing maintenance across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Site Maintenance Coordinator, you will be tasked with performing minor general maintenance and support duties, as well as planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across various stores. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting scheduled weekly and monthly maintenance tasks (e.g., fire alarm tests, water temperature checks, and cleaning of shower spray heads).
  • Implementing the weekly store defrost program.
  • Executing minor repairs to building fabric.
  • Carrying out minor decorating and plumbing tasks.
  • Performing minor joinery tasks and general ad-hoc maintenance.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A diverse set of practical skills and experience in a relevant trade, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within set timeframes.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with strong customer service skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating self-motivation and effective workload management.
  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with tablets and software such as Word and Excel.
  • A valid UK driver's license for roles covering multiple locations.
  • Physical fitness, as the role involves lifting heavy items and using ladders.
