Job Description

We are seeking a top-level Sales Director to join our team at Digital Waffle, a full-service marketing agency based in Central London. After undergoing a significant period of growth, we are now looking for a business-savvy Sales Director to generate new business, contributing to the top and bottom-line growth of the company.

The Sales Director will manage and deliver upon the sales funnel, working closely with our Managing Director to pitch new business opportunities as they reach the appropriate stages of the sales cycle. You will play an integral part in our client growth strategy, striving to create a sales funnel 4-5 times the size of the quota at any point after a significant ramp-up in the business.

The ideal candidate will have clear and robust experience selling complex media/data solutions to both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations. A strong Rolodex and experience identifying sales opportunities, cold calling, and generating meetings with new prospects, leading to a high conversion in sales are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base
  • Manage and deliver upon the sales funnel, working closely with the Managing Director to pitch new business opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, cold calling, and generating meetings with new prospects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects
  • Develop and deliver sales pitches and presentations to clients and prospects
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to drive sales growth and client satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to enhance our sales strategy and offerings

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong background in selling complex media/data solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the marketing and media industries
  • Ability to travel, as required
