Position: HR Coordinator (Ref: LS45900)

A technology manufacturing firm is currently seeking a HR Coordinator to support their operations.

The HR Coordinator will be tasked with managing employee databases, addressing inquiries, assisting in the recruitment and onboarding processes, overseeing payroll, updating documentation, and organizing events.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday

SALARY: £28,000 + £2,700 Area Allowance (Total £30,700)

LOCATION: Hybrid working arrangement (TBC most likely 3 days a week in the office after probation)

BENEFITS: 20 days holiday (increases year on year to 25 days), Advanced Company Pension, Life Cover (including Critical Illness cover), Private Healthcare

Key Responsibilities of the HR Coordinator:

  • Administrative Support: Maintaining employee database systems, scheduling meetings and appointments, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Inquiry Management: Providing initial responses to internal and external inquiries from staff members, managers, and candidates.
  • Recruitment Assistance: Publishing and modifying job postings, arranging interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Onboarding Support: Leading orientation sessions for new hires and providing information regarding benefits.
  • Leave and Absence Reporting: Assisting with the management of annual leave and absence reporting.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Supporting payroll processing and employee benefits management.
  • Document Production: Updating employee handbooks and newsletters, as well as drafting letters and reports.
  • Recruitment Support: Maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS); CV screening and administration.
  • Event Coordination: Organizing interview and assessment days.
  • Project Support: Assisting with various ad-hoc projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • CIPD level 3 or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Capable of accurately documenting and maintaining information and data.
  • Self-directed and flexible, with strong initiative and prioritization skills.
  • Positive attitude with a methodical approach to work.
  • Team-oriented with effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
