About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Scientist to take on a senior leadership position in our Department.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the scientific and technical services covering all aspects of treatment delivery, including radiotherapy technical services, clinical radiotherapy systems, and equipment management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the comprehensive scientific and technical services for radiotherapy treatment delivery
  • Manage the Department's large-scale radiotherapy system network and equipment
  • Take a lead role in the management and development of the Department's radiotherapy services
  • Collaborate with the team to implement model-based optimization algorithms and advanced radiotherapy techniques

Our Facilities:

We operate thirteen linear accelerators, including eleven Varian TrueBeam systems, with a range of specialized VMAT planning techniques, including SABR for various clinical sites, all delivered using FFF technology.

Our Centre is a world-leading site in the implementation of model-based optimization algorithms, with recent developments including the installation of a Varian EthosTM adaptive radiotherapy system.
