Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Scott's Richmond, a renowned dining destination in Richmond-Upon-Thames.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Provide a warm and professional welcome to our guests, setting the tone for their experience at our restaurant.
  • Manage Reservations: Ensure accurate and efficient table assignments, utilizing your organizational skills to maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the Service Team: Collaborate with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience, maintaining the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Answer Inquiries: Respond to phone calls and inquiries, providing information and assistance to our guests.
  • Maintain the Reception Area: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming to our guests.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or host/hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with either Open Table or Seven Rooms, with a strong understanding of reservation management systems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive Attitude and Teamwork: A positive and friendly demeanor, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
