The Globalisation Directorate is dedicated to spearheading, developing, and implementing a comprehensive globalisation strategy that aligns with the University’s overarching goals. Key components include student recruitment, admissions, marketing, and partnership development.

We are seeking an outstanding candidate to assume the role of Head of Global Engagement and Recruitment within the Future Students Team. This position is pivotal in steering our student recruitment and outreach efforts.

In this role, you will oversee a Student Recruitment and Access team that caters to the diverse needs of both domestic and international audiences, while remaining adaptable to evolving market conditions and program delivery methods. You will be accountable for student recruitment across all undergraduate and postgraduate programs, whether delivered in-person or remotely.

Your leadership will extend to the University’s Widening Access agenda, ensuring compliance with obligations to funding bodies and inspiring underrepresented groups to envision themselves pursuing education at our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating the achievement of the University’s recruitment objectives and budgetary targets.
  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to the Global Engagement and Recruitment team.
  • Enhancing the global presence and reputation of the University through targeted market activities.
  • Elevating the University’s profile in strategically significant international regions.
  • Driving the development of the University’s Widening Access initiatives.
