Retail Operations Leader

Location: Dundee

The Retail Operations Leader position offers a unique opportunity for a driven individual to join a prominent retailer in the Dundee area.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Retail Operations Leader, you will set the standard for excellence by making strategic decisions and taking proactive measures to ensure success. Your leadership will inspire a team of employees to innovate and enhance their understanding of the business. Exceptional customer service is crucial for maximizing revenue, alongside effective product sourcing and merchandising strategies that prioritize both in-store and online sales.

This role encompasses 35 hours per week, including weekend shifts on a rotational basis. It presents an exciting chance to contribute to the launch of a new retail outlet and create a significant impact from the outset.

In managing a new retail location that features both donated items and a selection of new products, you will need to be commercially astute, organized, and hands-on. Your leadership skills will be essential in motivating your team to achieve optimal profitability.

Main Duties Include:

  • Leading and inspiring team members
  • Ensuring the store meets its sales objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to boost sales and enhance operational efficiency
  • Overseeing inventory management
  • Handling financial transactions
  • Recruiting and training new personnel
  • Staying informed about competitor activities and market trends
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and customer service

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will possess experience in retail management or assistant management. A strong commitment to understanding and exceeding customer expectations, along with a desire to lead by example, is essential.
